Social Distancing and Hygiene Requirements
Upon arriving at Long Shot you may be met by a greeter to confirm your name and reservation time. You may have your temperature taken with an electronic temporal thermometer and will be permitted entry if you have a temperature of 100.3 degrees Fahrenheit or less.
To enter our facilities, you must wear a surgical mask or nose and mouth covering to our satisfaction. You must also sanitize your hands prior to entering. Your admittance to Long Shot facilities is entirely by our discretion. We retain the right to refuse entry for any reason.
At Long Shot, we are proud to offer something for everyone in our world class facilities. And, we would love to show you and your family around. However, given the Covid-19 situation we are all living, we must now ask you to make a reservation to schedule your introductory conversation. It will be our pleasure to receive you and give you a comprehensive tour.
Registration, Waiver and Safety Requirements
On your scheduled range day, if you have not already, you must complete your registration and waiver documents.
All first-time visitors to our facilities, who will enter the shooting ranges, will watch a 9-minute range safety video, without exception.
They must also attend a 20-minute instructional safety briefing, which they may waive out of by speaking to the instructor; subject to his entire discretion.
After attending the safety briefing (or being waived by the instructor), you must then check-in at the range counter, to pick up rented gear and receive your port assignment on the shooting ranges.
If you are Active Law Enforcement or Retired Law Enforcement certified under HR-218 or if you possess a NJ FID card, you may shoot alone, whether you bring your own firearm or rent one of ours, or both.
Bring your own firearm to shoot alone or with a friend, by reserving time on the rifle or pistol range, for 1 or 2 people. Please read below to learn the appropriate time to arrive for your scheduled start time. After registration and safety processing, you will check-in at the range counter, where you will be able to purchase ammo, targets etc. if needed. We will not sell ammo during your on-line reservation process.
If you’ve brought your own gun but decide you still want to try one of ours, you may rent a-la-carte any firearm available that is allowed in your reserved range.
If you would like to rent our firearms, but do not possess a NJ FID, you must bring one other person with you, as we use the "buddy system" for safety and security. Your buddy may shoot or simply observe, but you must make a reservation for 2 people. All of our rental packages are priced for 2 people.
Except for those above, our policy is that no one may shoot alone on the range.
Due to social distancing, we no longer allow 3 people to shoot together in one port.
If you are not allowed to shoot alone, you may only make reservations for an even number of guests. You must reserve a separate port for every two people, for range time.
Gun owning members (4-Pack Members or Annual Full Members) may bring their own guns, and may reserve time to shoot alone.
If you are a gun owner but not a member, you will be prompted to purchase a membership, to enable your booking.
Renters may purchase a package upon arrival of their appointment.
If you have 8 people or more in your party, you can make a reservation or request a special event quote via firstname.lastname@example.org or call 201-735-1875 option 2. One of our customer service representatives will get to know your specific party needs and put together a custom package for your family and friends event or corporate outing.
All range reservations must be paid in full at the time of reservation. All sales are final. There are no refunds provided on reservations and packages.
Should you not show up to your reservation, you forfeit the registration and all fees paid.
Range Reservation Cancellation Policy
All range reservations are final and non-cancelable.
On the day of your reservation, if you are unable to make the appropriate arrival time, it may be possible to move you to an open time slot on the same day, depending on availability. A $50 rescheduling charge will apply to renters. 4-pack pass holders will pay a $25 fee based upon availability. Annual members pay no fee to reschedule.

No shows automatically forfeit all monies paid without the possibility of rescheduling.
Returning Customers, Arrival Time:
If you and your shooting partner(s) are returning customers, for your first time back since Covid, your entire party must arrive at Long Shot not less than 45 minutes prior to your scheduled start time. This will allow sufficient time for returning guests to fill out new registration and waiver documents electronically, as we move to an enhanced system. On your next visit, you may arrive 30 minutes prior to your scheduled start time. As before, each time, you will check-in at the range counter to pick up any gear and receive your port assignment.
First-time Customers, Arrival time:
If it is your or your shooting partner(s) first time at Long Shot, you must arrive not less than one hour prior to your scheduled start time. This will allow sufficient time for registration and waiver processing, completion of safety briefing and gun selection and check-in and port assignment at the range counter, so as to be ready when called.
Customers, Arriving Late or Not Ready to Start When Called:
You and your shooting partner(s) must complete the registration, safety and range check-in requirements. If you or any member of your party arrives late or is not ready to start when called, you may or may not be allowed to enter the range and shoot the scheduled finish time of your range session.
If you and your shooting partner are not ready to proceed when called, your assigned time will begin to count down regardless.
