SHOTGUN ROAD TRIP 2
LEHIGH VALLEY (PA)
AUGUST 14
This is a special event at a special place. We will be booking the event in foursomes, each with its own golf cart to get around in style.
Long Shot will create foursomes for those who are not booking 4 at a time.
The course of fire will include 17 shooting stations, 100 shot shells and 100 clays.
Afterwards, we will be heading out for lunch together.
(So we can tell tall tales and memorize them before coming back.)

CHERRY RIDGE RIFLE TRIP
This trip is to the home range of the Association of New Jersey Rifle and Pistol Clubs (ANJRPC).
We will be shooting on the 100 yard range. Perfect for your AR-15's or .308 Win and 6.5 Creedmoor rifles.
They have pistol ranges, too! As well as a bunch of other educational services.
If we have time, we will take a walk through all the ranges and talk to some of the range officers.

TO SHOOT AT CHERRY RIDGE
Is a great time outdoors with friends, and a completely different experience than shooting indoors.
Become a member and enjoy all they have to offer. As a Cherry Ridge member, you will always be able to join Long Shot on future road trips to Highland Lakes.
Start by taking their mandatory online range safety class on August 5th. Sign up today! It is given only twice a month and enrollment fills up quickly.
Then pay the $175 annual fee, plus a one time $75 initiation fee.
NOT READY TO COMMIT? YOU MAY STILL BE ABLE TO COME.
If you own a long gun, at some point you will be shooting them where they were intended - in the great outdoors.
But if you are not quite ready to join the ANJRPC's home range today, you may still come on the trip as a guest of a member.
There are 5 of us going that day. Each of us can bring 2 guests. As of today, we have 5 spots still open for guests. So, let us know if you want to come.
You will be charged $25 by Long Shot, which we will use to cover Cherry Ridge's range fees for the day. You will be able to buy range targets and other small accessories when you get up there. Don't forget your plastic chamber flags! They take safety seriously.
WHEN ARE WE GOING AND WHAT ARE WE DOING?
The trip is set for August 21, 2021. A couple of Long Shot members will be arriving at dawn to prepare for an 8AM High Power 80 Tactical Rifle Match. If you are interested in spectating the match, you are welcome to join them at 8am.
Otherwise, if you've made our guest list, and want to shoot on the range please arrive promptly at 11:30AM and be prepared to shoot at 12 noon.
We will be shooting on the 100 yard range, and if all State Championship Matches are finished, we will proceed up to the 200 and 300 yard ranges at 3pm.

Yes, Yes, more road trips! These are for SHOTGUNS!
Whether experienced or a novice, Long Shot has something for you.
Shoot locally with us at Thunder Mountain in NJ, on either of two days, to qualify for the trip to a premier range in Lehigh Valley, PA.
THUNDER MOUNTAIN SKEET & TRAP
(Ringwood State Park, 100 Mansion Road, Ringwood, NJ 07456)
Long Shot will be shooting at Thunder Mountain Saturdays, July 31st and August 7th, 2021.
If you've shot skeet and trap before, and don't need a refresher but do want to shoot with Long Shot, sign up for July 31st.
We will arrive at 8:00am at the range, which is first come, first served. No reservations taken. So, let's all be prompt to get grouped together!!

NEED A SHOTGUN CLASS FIRST?
Sign up for the August 7th road trip. We will meet at 7:30am at Long Shot, where you will attend a class geared toward outdoor shooting.
At 9:30, we will all get in our cars together and drive up to Thunder Mountain for a morning of fun.
The cost of the class will be $150 paid when you reserve your spot.
CHECK YOUR EQUIPMENT
After signing up for either Thunder Mountain trip, please stop by the store the week prior to your travel date with your gear. We will check it out and make sure that everything is ship shape.
Otherwise, you can rent shotguns at the range. No equipment reservation needed.
LEHIGH VALLEY SPORTING CLAYS
(2750 Limestone St, Coplay, PA 18037)
The trip to Lehigh Valley Sporting Clays is scheduled for August 14th, 2021.
This is a special event at a special place. We will be booking the event in foursomes, each with its own golf cart to get around in style.
Long Shot will create foursomes for those who are not booking 4 at a time. The course of fire will include 17 shooting stations, 100 shot shells and 100 clays.
The cost of this event is either $200 if you are bringing your own shotgun, or $250 if you need a range shotgun. Note: An advance equipment reservation is required.
Afterwards, we will be heading out for lunch together. (So we can tell tall tales and memorize them before coming back.)
Lunch is included. Two beers max. It's a long way back.
